EXECUTIVE PASTRY CHEF

Kiyoshi Utsumi

After graduating from culinary school, he worked in several pastry shops in Tokyo but decided to move to Europe to further his patisserie skills in Luxembourg, France and Belgium.
Joined the Hyatt group in 1998 and has been a Pastry Chef in various Hyatt hotels in both Japan and China. In 2017, he returned to Tokyo from living in China for a total of 16 years, and is now Executive Pastry Chef at Park Hyatt Tokyo where he oversees the creations of the hotel’s patisserie and confection offerings including the seasonal desserts of the Pastry Boutique.
