Park Hyatt Tokyo’s Food Safety Management system receives ISO22000:2018 certification

Park Hyatt Tokyo has, received the ISO22000:2018 certification, the international standard for food safety management systems, as of Monday, March 30, 2020.

As a global hotel chain, Hyatt Hotels Corporation has been working since 2012 to pursue food safety and security. At Park Hyatt Tokyo we built an in-house Food Safety Management team to strengthen our already existing system, and in 2016, acquired HACCP certification which is a guideline for food hygiene management.
In addition, in order to operate with this certification more reliably, we continued to make thorough improvements throughout the company while carefully monitoring the process from production to shipping.
As a result, we have acquired the ISO 22000:2018 certification, which is an international standard that comprehensively manages the quality, manufacturing environment, and in-house system throughout all stages of production until food is provided to the customers.

In the interest of promoting food safety and sustainability internationally, Park Hyatt Tokyo will continue to provide hospitality through food with a high level of awareness.
